Indications

It is used for pre-exposure prophylaxis of new coronavirus pneumonia in adults and adolescents (≥12 years old, weight ≥40kg), as well as pre-exposure prophylaxis for people who are not suitable to receive the new coronavirus vaccine or have insufficient immune response to the new coronavirus vaccine.

Usage and Dosage

1. Enshi is administered as two injections (one for tisagvirumab and one for sigvirimab), and they are injected successively at different sites (preferably intramuscular injection in the buttocks).

2. The injection should be administered as soon as possible after a positive SARS-CoV-2 virus test and within 7 days after the onset of COVID-19 symptoms.

Precautions

1. If you have a low number of platelets, have any coagulation problems, or are taking drugs to prevent blood clots (anticoagulants), please communicate with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before using this product.

2. If you notice any symptoms of a cardiac event, such as: chest pain, shortness of breath, general discomfort, feeling sick or lacking health, feeling dizzy or fainting, please tell your doctor, pharmacist or nurse immediately or seek medical help.

3. If you notice any signs of a serious allergic reaction, such as: difficulty breathing or swallowing, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or throat, severe itching of the skin, a red rash or raised bumps, tell a doctor, pharmacist or nurse or seek medical help immediately

4. Children and Adolescents This product should not be used by children under 12 years of age or children weighing less than 40 kg.

5. Other medicines: Tell your doctor, pharmacist or nurse if you are taking, have recently taken or may take any other medicines. It is not known whether this medicine will affect other medicines or whether it will be affected by other medicines.

6. Pregnancy: If you are pregnant or may be pregnant, tell your doctor or nurse. This is because there is not enough data yet to determine whether this drug is safe during pregnancy.

7. If you are breastfeeding, please tell your doctor or nurse. This is because it is not yet known whether this medicine passes into human milk or what effects it may have on the baby or milk secretion. Your doctor will help you decide whether to continue breastfeeding or start treatment with this medication.
