Brivaracetam

　　【Indications】

　　This product is indicated for the treatment of partial-onset seizures in patients 1 month of age and older.

　　【Recommended Dosage】

　　Please refer to the corresponding dosage specifications for the detailed recommended dose of this product.The dosage may be adjusted according to the patient's clinical response and tolerability.

　　The recommended dosage and dosing frequency are identical for the tablet,injection,and oral suspension formulations.

　　【Adverse Reactions】

　　In both pediatric and adult patients:

　　The most common adverse reactions(incidence>2%)include somnolence/sedation,dizziness,fatigue,and nausea/vomiting.

　　【Pharmacological Action】

　　The precise mechanism underlying the anticonvulsant activity of this product has not been fully elucidated.Studies demonstrate that this product binds with high selectivity and affinity to synaptic vesicle protein 2A(SV2A)in the brain,which may mediate its anticonvulsant effect.

　　【Storage】

　　Store at 25°C;excursions are permitted between 15°C and 30°C.

　　Do not freeze the injection or oral suspension formulations.

　　The product remains valid for 5 months after first opening;discard any unused medication after this period.

　　The injection vials of this product are for single-dose use only.
