奥贝胆酸用法用量

It is a bile acid analogue and a new agonist of farnesoid X receptor. Obeticholic acid was successfully developed by Intercept Pharmaceuticals in the United States and has been approved for the treatment of patients with non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH), primary biliary cirrhosis and primary sclerosing cholangitis.

Starting dosage:

The recommended starting dose of obeticholic acid is 5 mg orally once daily for adults who have not achieved an adequate response to UDCA at appropriate doses for more than 1 year or cannot tolerate UDCA.

Dose Titration: In patients who have not achieved adequate reductions in ALP and/or total bilirubin after 3 months of obeticholic acid 5 mg once daily and who are resistant to obeticholic acid, increase the dose to 10 mg once daily. Maximum dosage: 10 mg per day, 2.1 at a time.

Note: Especially some patients with moderate to severe liver dysfunction who do not take obeticholic acid tablets at the normal dose may lead to an increased risk of severe liver damage and death. These patients mainly overdose, especially if the frequency of medication exceeds the instructions on the instructions.
