Daprodustat is the Chinese name of Daprodustat. This is an oral small molecule drug that belongs to the HIF-PHI class (hypoxia-inducible factor prolyl hydroxylase inhibitor). It is mainly used to treat renal anemia, especially for patients with anemia caused by chronic kidney disease (CKD). Different from the traditional use of injectable erythropoietin drugs, daprostat promotes the secretion of endogenous erythropoietin (EPO) by simulating a hypoxic state, thereby stimulating red blood cell production.
