How did the symptoms improve after three days of using Japanese Anamorelin?
As a ghrelin receptor agonist, Anamorelin (Anamorelin) has a pharmacological characteristic of rapid onset of action, activating the appetite regulation mechanism of the central nervous system and stimulating gastrointestinal motility in a short period of time. Therefore, in the first few days after starting use, some patients may show initial signs of symptom relief, especially in terms of increased appetite and subjective desire to eat. Although the three-day initial observation window period is not enough to evaluate the drug's deep improvement in lean body mass or muscle mass, it can provide a clinical reference for early response and help doctors determine whether the patient is sensitive to the drug.

In overseas experience, especially feedback from Japanese patients, some people showed an increase in food intake, recovery of hunger, and even an increase in the number of daily meals and intake of each meal within two to three days after taking the drug. Since Anamorelin can also slightly promote gastric emptying, some patients who have long-term poor appetite or a strong feeling of fullness may also feel that their stomach is relaxed after initial use of the drug, thereby improving eating rhythm and appetite quality. In addition, some individuals reported mild improvement in mental status, which may be related to the restoration of basal metabolism after increased energy intake. However, it should be noted that most of these improvements are early functional responses and do not represent substantial improvements in body composition or weight. The latter usually require continuous use for more than several weeks to be evaluated.
However, individual differences always exist and not all patients will benefit significantly within the first three days. Some people may take longer to achieve the desired response, especially if accompanied by severe metabolic disorders or nutrient depletion in advanced stages of cancer. A small number of patients may experience mild discomfort in the first three days, such as gastric bloating, mild nausea, or blood sugar fluctuations. These are usually transient phenomena, but they also require close monitoring by a doctor. Therefore, even if positive changes are observed in the short term, you should not increase the dosage or extend the treatment course without authorization.
