Epclusa is an antiviral compound preparation developed by Gilead and is suitable for patients with chronic hepatitis C (HCV) of all genotypes. It consists of two direct antiviral drugs (DAAs) Sofosbuvir (400mg) and Velpatasvir (100mg), which achieve efficient clearance by inhibiting the RNA replication of the HCV virus. For patients with hepatitis C and compensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh A), GIS3 can still be used alone without additional combination with ribavirin (Ribavirin). However, for patients with decompensated cirrhosis (Child-Pugh B or C), it is usually recommended to add ribavirin to the third generation of gynecology to improve viral clearance and reduce the risk of disease progression.
