How to take Lenalidomide

Lenalidomide is an oral capsule. When lenalidomide is used to treat myelodysplastic syndrome, it is usually taken once daily with or without food. When lenalidomide is used to treat multiple myeloma or mantle cell lymphoma, it is usually taken once daily with or without food for the first 21 days of a 28-day cycle. When lenalidomide is used to treat multiple myeloma after HSCT, it is usually taken once daily with or without food for 28 days in a 28-day cycle. Depending on the patient's response to the drug, the doctor may recommend repeating the 28-day cycle. Swallow capsules whole with plenty of water; do not break, chew, or open them. Handle capsules as little as possible.
