Deferasirox dispersible tablets (Deferasirox) is a drug that treats iron overload caused by multiple blood transfusions. Its main function is to bind excess free iron ions in the body and help the body eliminate excess iron. Although deferasirox does not generally cause a direct decrease in hemoglobin, it may be associated with some anemia-related problems during use. In the setting of multiple transfusions, patients may accumulate excess iron, leading to iron overload.
