Cemiplimab lung cancer

Cemiplimab (Cemiplimab) may be used to treat a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) when the cancer is locally advanced and cannot be treated with chemotherapy (drugs used to treat cancer) and radiation therapy, or when the cancer is metastatic. It is either used alone in patients with tumors in which more than 50% of the cells in the tumor contain a protein called PD-L1 but without mutations in the EGFR, ALK and ROS1 genes. In the development of non-small cell lung cancer, it is used together with platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with tumors in which at least 1% of the cells contain PD-L1 without mutations in the EGFR, ALK and ROS1 genes.
