Is carfilzomib toxic?
Carfilzomib (Carfilzomib) is a highly toxic drug, but with reasonable drug treatment and care, its toxic effects can be controlled and the occurrence of adverse reactions can be reduced. In clinical studies, the most common adverse reactions reported in at least 20% of patients receiving combination therapy were anemia, diarrhea, hypertension, fatigue, upper respiratory tract infection, thrombocytopenia, pyrexia, cough, dyspnea and insomnia. Postmarketing, hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS), hepatitis B virus reactivation, gastrointestinal perforation, pericarditis, and cytomegalovirus infections, including chorioretinitis, pneumonia, enterocolitis, viremia, intestinal obstruction, and acute pancreatitis, have also occurred.
