Is Blinatumomab 14 days a course of treatment?
A single cycle of induction or consolidation therapy with Blinatumomab consists of 28 days of continuous intravenous infusion, followed by a 14-day treatment-free interval (Total42 days), Dosing is based on the patient's actual weight. Patients weighing more than 45 kg should receive a fixed dose, while patients weighing less than 45 kg should receive a dose based on their estimated body surface area. Hospitalization is recommended for the first 3 days of the first cycle and the first 2 days of the second cycle, and physician or nurse supervision or hospitalization is recommended for all subsequent cycle starts and restarts (e.g., if treatment is interrupted for 4 hours or more).
