Avelumab global price clarified

Avelumab (Avelumab) is an emerging cancer treatment drug. The original drug has not yet been launched in China, so it cannot be included in medical insurance. Avelumab’s generic drug, which is sold overseas, may cost more than RMB 10,000 per box of 200mg/10mL (the price may fluctuate due to exchange rates). We are not yet aware of any generic version of Avelumab that has been produced and put on the market. Avelumab is a human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds to programmed cell death ligand-1 (PD-L1) to block its interaction with receptors on T cells and antigen-presenting cells. It is used to treat Merkel cell carcinoma, metastatic urothelial carcinoma, or renal cell carcinoma.
