The English name of Bortezomib
Bortezomib (Bortezomib) is an important anti-cancer drug, mainly used to treat malignant tumors such as multiple myeloma (Multiple Myeloma) and certain non-Hodgkin lymphomas (Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma). Bortezomib was first synthesized in 1995. In May 2003, bortezomib became the first anti-cancer proteasome inhibitor approved by under the trade name VELCADE. Phase I, II, III and IV clinical trials are ongoing to study the efficacy of bortezomib in leukemia, myasthenia gravis, systemic lupus erythematosus, rheumatoid arthritis and solid tumors.
