Aducanumab (Aducanumab) is a newly approved drug identified as an amyloid beta protein-directed monoclonal antibody, which is suitable for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD). Aducanumab is a clear to opalescent, colorless to yellow solution currently available in single-dose vials for intravenous (IV) infusion administration. Intravenous injections are usually given once a month based on the subject's weight per kilogram (kg) of body weight. The dose per injection is 10 mg/ml. Initial treatment usually starts with a low dose and then gradually increases the dose to reduce potential side effects. The doctor will determine dosage adjustments based on the patient's specific situation and needs.
