Adverse reactions of atorvastatin calcium tablets
Atorvastatin calcium tablets (atorvastatin calcium) are a commonly used drug used to reduce cholesterol and lipoprotein levels and prevent cardiovascular disease. Although atorvastatin calcium is safe and effective in most people, it can cause some side effects. The most commonly reported adverse reactions in clinical studies were nasopharyngitis, arthralgia, diarrhea, limb pain, and urinary tract infection. After the introduction of atorvastatin calcium tablets, allergic reactions, angioedema, bullous rash, rhabdomyolysis, myositis, fatigue, tendon rupture, fatal and non-fatal liver failure, dizziness, depression, peripheral neuropathy, pancreatitis and interstitial lung disease have occurred.
