Venetoclax/The main ingredient of Venetoclax (Venetoclax) is Venetoclax itself. Venetoclax is an oral small molecule drug that belongs to the B cell lymphoma-2 (BCL-2) inhibitor class. Its chemical structure is an isofuran compound, and its mechanism of action is by selectively inhibiting the activity of BCL-2 protein. BCL-2 protein plays a role in inhibiting apoptosis in cells, and malignant diseases such as leukemia and lymphoma are often accompanied by overexpression of BCL-2. Venetoclax works against this abnormality by inhibiting BCL-2, prompting infected white blood cells to undergo apoptosis, thereby inhibiting the uncontrolled proliferation of leukemia and lymphoma cells.
