Venetoclax/Venetoclax (Venetoclax) is a targeted therapy drug mainly used to treat patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and certain non-Hodgkin lymphomas (NHL). Its unique mechanism of action lies in inhibiting BCL-2 (BCL-2) protein, which inhibits apoptosis (self-destruction) in cells. By blocking the effects of BCL-2, venetoclax promotes the apoptosis of leukemia and lymphoma cells, thereby inhibiting the abnormal proliferation of these malignant cells. This targeted effect makes venetoclax an effective tool in the treatment of certain hematological malignancies, providing patients with new treatment options, especially when traditional treatment options are ineffective or inappropriate. The introduction of venetoclax has made significant progress in improving patient survival and quality of life.
