Are Trifluridine Tipiracil Tablets (Lonsurf) Tablets a medically insured drug?
The original drug Trifluridine Lonsurf (Lonsurf) has been launched in China under the trade name Lonsurf, but it has not yet entered the scope of medical insurance, so Trifluridine Lonsurf is not a medically insured drug. Trifluridine is used to treat cancer of the colon (large intestine) or rectum that has spread to other parts of the body in people who have been treated with other chemotherapy drugs or cannot be treated with these chemotherapy drugs. It is also used to treat certain types of stomach cancer or cancer located at the junction of the stomach and esophagus (the tube between the throat and stomach) that has spread to other parts of the body in people who have been treated with at least two other chemotherapy drugs.
