How to take Vorinostat

Vorinostat (Vorinostat) is available as a 100 mg capsule approved for oral administration. The recommended dose for the treatment of cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL) is 400 mg once daily with food. Treatment can be continued as long as there is no evidence of disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. If the patient is intolerant to treatment, the dose of vorinostat may be reduced to 300 mg once daily with food. If necessary, the dose can be further reduced to 300 mg once a day with food for 5 consecutive days per week. For patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment (bilirubin 1-3 × ULN or AST greater than ULN), reduce the starting dose of vorinostat to 300 mg orally once daily with food.
