Is Nivolumab effective in late-stage gastric cancer?

Nivolumab (Nivolumab) can be used in combination with chemotherapy drugs containing fluoropyrimidine and platinum, and is suitable for the treatment of adult patients with advanced or metastatic gastric cancer, gastroesophageal junction cancer and esophageal adenocarcinoma. Nivolumab has transformed the treatment of advanced gastric cancer (AGC), showing better outcomes than best supportive care in patients with advanced gastric cancer who have received at least two prior lines of therapy. The study evaluated 49 patients with AGC who received nivolumab. The median progression-free survival and overall survival were 2.0 and 6.0 months, respectively, and 1.2 and 2.8 months in the poor group.
