What tremelimumab does

Tremelimumab (tremelimumab) functions to activateT cells and enhance the immune system's ability to attack tumor cells. It helps the immune system recognize and kill tumor cells, thereby inhibiting the growth and spread of tumors. Texitumumabcombined with durvalumab (durvalumab) is widely used in unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma (u HCC) and platinum-based chemotherapy for adult patients with metastatic non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without sensitizing epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations or anaplastic lymphoma kinase (ALK) genomic tumor abnormalities. Its main target is tumor cells. By activating the immune system, it enhances the immune attack power of tumor cells and inhibits the growth and spread of tumors.
