Can Trelagliptin and Metformin be taken at the same time?

Trelagliptin (Trelagliptin) and metformin can be used together, but try to avoid taking them at the same time. Drug interactions may affect the therapeutic effect of Trelagliptin on lowering blood sugar. A study showed that 48 healthy adults took trotagliptin 100 mg once daily and metformin 1000 mg twice daily for 12 days (crossover trial). The integral estimates (two-sided 90% CI) of the ratio of the adjusted mean values of AUC0-tau and Cmax for gliptin and metformin were 105.0% and 108.5% for trolagliptin and 90.4% and 73.3% for metformin, respectively.
