Is Hetrombopag a generic version of Eltrombopag/Eltrombopag?

Eltrombopag/ Eltrombopag and Eltrombopag are both thrombopoietin receptor agonists (TPO-RA), used to treat thrombocytopenia. They have some similarities, but there are also some differences: both have similar mechanisms of action, both by binding to the thrombopoietin receptor and activating the signaling pathway, thereby promoting the production of platelets. Eltrombopag is produced by structural modification of eltrombopag to increase potency and reduce toxicity. Preclinical studies have shown that heltrombopag has a similar mechanism of action to eltrombopag, but its pharmacological properties in vivo (nude mice) are superior to eltrombopag.
