Is Lurbinectedin effective for small cell lung cancer?

Lurbinectedin (Lurbinectedin) is a new type of cytotoxic drug that has potential therapeutic effect in the treatment of small cell lung cancer. This drug is derived from marine organisms and has strong anti-tumor activity. It mainly inhibits the proliferation and growth of cancer cells by targeting DNA and protein interactions, while also inducing apoptosis and inhibiting tumor angiogenesis. A multi-center clinical study evaluated the efficacy and safety of rubicatin monotherapy in 70 patients with advanced small cell lung cancer. The results showed that the overall response rate of this treatment regimen reached 35.7%, including 5 complete responses and 16 partial responses.
