西罗莫司片吃多久?
(Lei Pa Ming) How long does it take? What is the usage and dosage? This is an issue that many patients are concerned about. Let’s take a look at the guidelines for taking sirolimus tablets (rapamin). At present, it has been clinically proven that patients benefit from taking 2 mg of sirolimus oral solution and 2 mg of sirolimus tablets in clinical equivalents. Therefore, patients can interchange the same amounts when actually taking the medicine. As for sirolimus tablets, the domestically sold specification is 1 mg/tablet. For new kidney transplant recipients, it is recommended that sirolimus be used in combination with cyclosporine and corticosteroids. A loading dose of sirolimus should be taken for the first time, which is 3 times the maintenance dose. The recommended loading dose for kidney transplant patients is 6mg and the maintenance dose is 2mg/day, that is, 2 tablets per day. To maintain sirolimus plasma concentrations within the target range, sirolimus plasma concentrations should be monitored. Regarding the question of how long to take sirolimus tablets (rapamin), it still needs to be determined according to the patient's own recovery. If there is improvement or recovery, the dose can be reduced or the medication can be stopped.
Although the loading dose of 15 mg and the maintenance dose of 5 mg/day used in clinical trials are safe and effective, the efficacy benefits of doses above 2 mg are unclear for kidney transplant patients. The overall safety profile of patients taking sirolimus oral solution 2 mg daily was better than that of patients taking sirolimus oral solution 5 mg daily. For patients aged 13 years and older but weighing 40 kg or less, the starting dose of sirolimus should be adjusted to 1 mg/m²/day based on body surface area. The loading dose should be adjusted to 3 mg/m². For patients with hepatic impairment, it is recommended that the maintenance dose of sirolimus be reduced by approximately 1/3 to 1/2. The loading dose of sirolimus does not need to be adjusted; for patients with liver impairment, it is recommended to monitor the blood trough concentration of sirolimus; for patients with renal impairment, there is no need to adjust the loading dose of sirolimus. For elderly patients, there is no need to adjust the dose of sirolimus tablets (rapamin).
The above is the question of the taking time of (Rapamin) provided by our medical companion travel. Patients must read the instructions carefully before taking the medicine and must not change the dosage on their own.
