地诺单抗去哪儿买?
Today, Medical Companion Brigade will introduce to you a subcutaneous injection drug that is better than traditional bisphosphonates in treating bone metastasis—RANKL inhibitor (Xgeva, denosumab), also known as denosumab.
Bone metastasis is an unavoidable disease metastasis that occurs in the late stages of many cancer patients. Once bone metastasis occurs, it will lead to severe skeletal lesions, including bone pain, pathological fractures, spinal cord compression, hypercalcemia and other skeletal related events (SRE). The two common symptoms and consequences it brings often cause the patient's life and quality of life to decline rapidly.
Denosumab is approved for the prevention of bone-related events in bone metastases in solid tumors and not for the prevention of bone-related events in patients with multiple myeloma. Recommended dose: 120 mg once every 4 weeks. Also infuse calcium or vitamin D to prevent hypocalcemia. It is approved for use in adults or bone-mature adolescents with giant cell tumors of bone that are unresectable or may result in serious complications after surgical resection. Recommended dose: 120mg, once every 4 weeks. In the first month of treatment, add 120mg on the 8th and 15th days. Also infuse calcium or vitamin D to prevent hypocalcemia. Approved for hypercalcemia of malignancy. Recommended dose: 120mg, once every 4 weeks. In the first month of treatment, add 120mg on the 8th and 15th days.
Denosumab is a transmembrane or soluble protein. It is the only factor discovered so far that can induce osteoclast differentiation and development. It plays an important role in the formation, function, survival of osteoclasts and cells responsible for bone resorption, and regulates the release of calcium from bone. Through RANKL stimulation, osteoclast activity is enhanced, mediating the occurrence of bone metastasis bone pathology in solid tumors. In addition, giant cell tumors of bone contain stromal cells that express RANKL, and osteoclast-like giant cells express RANKL receptors, which signal to each other leading to osteolysis and tumor growth.
Where to buy denosumab? It is not currently available in China. Patients can go to areas where denosumab is available in person, find a hospital doctor to write a prescription, and then take the medicine back to China for treatment, or find domestic overseas medical service institutions (such as Medical Companion Travel) to purchase the medicine.
