Generic name: tiotropium/olodaterol
Trade name: Spiolto® Respimat®
Full names: Spiolto® Respimat®, Respimat, tiotropium/olodaterol, Spiolto® Respimat®, Spiolto Respimat, Spiolto, tiotropium/olodaterol.
Indications:
Respimat is indicated for adults with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
How to take:
Recommended dosage is: Respimat is effective 24 hours a day, so use it only once a day, if possible at the same time every day. Spray Respimat twice with each use.Since COPD is a long-term disease, use Respimat every day, not just when you have breathing problems. Do not exceed recommended dosage.
Adverse reactions:
1. Immediately after taking Respimat, allergic reactions such as rash, hives, swelling of the mouth and face, sudden difficulty breathing (angioedema), or other allergic reactions (such as a sudden drop in blood pressure or dizziness) may occur alone or as part of a severe allergic reaction. If any of the above conditions occur, stop using this medicine and consult your doctor immediately.
2. Common adverse reactions (may affect 1/10 people): dry mouth.
3. Uncommon adverse reactions (may affect 1/100 people): dizziness, headache, feeling heartbeat (palpitations), difficulty sleeping (insomnia), fast heartbeat (tachycardia), high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat (atrial fibrillation), cough, constipation.
4. Rare adverse reactions (may affect 1/1000 people): nasopharyngitis, laryngitis, gingivitis, sore throat (pharyngitis), hoarseness (dysphonia), nosebleeds, fast heartbeat (supraventricular tachycardia), nausea, fungal infection of the mouth and throat (oropharynx) candidiasis), blurred vision, joint pain, back pain, allergic reactions (including immediate reactions), severe allergic reactions, difficulty urinating (urinary retention), painful urination (dysuria), swelling of the mouth, face, or throat (angioedema), itching, hives.
Things to note:
1. Use is prohibited if the patient is allergic to tiotropium bromide or olodaterol or any other component of Respimat, as well as to atropine or substances related to it, such as ipratropine or oxytropine.
2. Patients with asthma (Respimat should not be used to treat asthma), heart disease, epilepsy, thyrotoxicosis, diabetes, high blood pressure, aneurysm, diabetes, severe liver damage, planned surgery, prostate problems or difficulty urinating, kidney damage, narrow-angle glaucoma and other diseases should consult the relevant physician before taking the medication and use the medication with caution.
3. Avoid getting Respimat medicine into your eyes. If you accidentally get it, please rinse it with plenty of water immediately.
4. If serious adverse reactions occur during treatment with Respimat, you need to contact a doctor in time for treatment. Do not take medication blindly to avoid causing more serious harm to the body.
5. Pregnant and lactating women should use with caution. Respimat should not be used in patients under 18 years of age.
