Introduction: Criborole ointment combined with soothing and moisturizing repair cream has shown certain efficacy and advantages in the treatment of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in children, and can effectively relieve symptoms such as erythema and itching. The method was to recruit 50 children with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis who were admitted to our hospital between November 2022 and April 2023. A self-control method was used. The control side (control group) used topical criborole ointment alone 2 times/d, and the treatment side (treatment group) used topical criborole ointment combined with soothing and moisturizing repair cream 2 times/d for a total of 14 days. Clinical symptom scores were conducted on the 7th and 14th days of treatment, and adverse reactions were recorded. As a result, a total of 50 cases were included, and 43 cases were actually completed.

After 7 days of treatment, the clinical symptom scores of the control group and the treatment group were significantly lower than before treatment. After 14 days of treatment, the scores of both groups were also significantly lower than before treatment, and the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than that of the control group. The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group. Conclusion: Criborole ointment combined with soothing, moisturizing and repairing cream can effectively relieve the clinical symptoms of mild to moderate atopic dermatitis in children and reduce the incidence of adverse reactions. Its efficacy is better than criborole ointment alone.

Combined use
