pulmozyme使用方法图解?
Pulmozyme is a recombinant DNA enzyme indicated as a standard treatment for patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) to improve lung function. The recommended dose is one 2.5 mg disposable ampoule for once daily inhalation using a recommended nebulizer.
For use, pulseozyme needs to be administered via the eRapid nebulizer system or via a jet nebulizer connected to an air compressor. The following is a step-by-step illustration of the method for administering via the eRapid nebulizer system:
Prepare the eRapid nebulizer system:
1. Clean a flat surface and wash your hands: Please wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before using Pulmozyme ampoules and atomizers. This helps prevent infection, see picture below.
2. Collect the atomizer and test it: Place the eRapid system components on a clean, flat surface within easy reach. Make sure the controller battery is charged or the device is plugged into an electrical outlet. Test whether the controller turns on by pressing and holding the on/off button on the controller for a few seconds. When the controller is on, press and hold the On/Off button to turn the controller off. As shown below:
3. Collect Pulmozyme ampoules and check the expiry date: Remove 1 foil bag containing Pulmozyme from the refrigerator. Open the foil bag and take out 1 ampoule of Promosim.
Place the remaining ampoule back into the foil bag and return it to the refrigerator. Check the expiration date (exp), the date is printed on the ampoule. If it is expired, do not use Pulmozyme ampoules.
4. Check the Pulmozyme ampoule: Invert the ampoule and squeeze gently to check for leaks. Do not use if ampoule leaks. Throw it away and get a new one. Check the disinfectant solution in the ampoule to make sure it is clear and free of particles. Do not use Pulmozyme if the liquid is cloudy or discolored. Return Pulmozyme to the pharmacy, hospital or clinic that gave you the medicine.
5. Assemble the eRapid nebulizer system: As shown, the eRapid nebulizer system has several small parts that must be put together in the correct way to provide you with the required dose of Pulmozyme.
Parts must be cleaned and disinfected at least once before first use. See the manufacturer's eRapid Nebulizer System instruction manual for cleaning instructions and step-by-step instructions on how to assemble the eRapid Nebulizer System.
6. Open the Pulmozyme ampoule: Firmly hold the tab at the bottom of the Pulmozyme ampoule. Unscrew from the top. Do not squeeze the ampoule body.
7. Pour the entire dose of Pulmozyme into the nebulizer: Invert the ampoule, squeeze gently, and pour the medication into the medication container. Continue squeezing until the ampoule is empty. It is very important to squeeze out all the medicine from the ampoule.
8. Place the cap on the medication container: Align the tab on the medication cap with the groove on the medication container. Turn the medication cap to the right (clockwise) until it stops.
9. Turn on the atomizer: press and hold the on/off button on the controller for a few seconds. The controller will beep, the indicator light will turn green, and the atomizer will start producing mist.
Take your desired dose of pulmozyme:
1. Breathe through the mouth: Place the braces between the teeth and on the tip of the tongue. Inhale and exhale slowly through your mouth, do not block the flow of medicine with your tongue, and do not breathe through your nose. If you can only breathe through your mouth, use a nose clip.
If you need to stop the treatment before it ends, or if you start to cough, press and hold the on/off button on the controller for 1 second.
To restart treatment, press and hold the on/off key button for 1 second. Continue treatment until the controller beeps 2 times.
When your dose is complete, the nebulizer will automatically turn off. A complete treatment usually takes 1 minute to 5 minutes.
2. Check that you have taken the full dose: After treatment, there should be about 1/5 teaspoon (1mL) of medication left in the medication container. Open the medication cap and inspect the medication container.
If more than 1/5 teaspoon (1mL) of medication remains in the medication container, replace the medication cap and continue treatment. When treatment is complete, throw away 1/5 teaspoon (1 mL) of medication remaining in the medication container.
3. Clean the nebulizer after treatment with pramosim: If the controller is on, press and hold the on/off button to turn off the controller. Disassemble the nebulizer system, dispose of empty Pulmozyme ampoules in household trash, and see the manufacturer's eRapid nebulizer system instruction manual for cleaning instructions.
Handpieces (including medication container, medication cap, aerosol tip, and microphone) must be cleaned after each use and disinfected after daily use. It is recommended to use EasyCare cleaner to clean the aerosol head in the mobile phone once a week.
After you have used the eRapid nebulizer system 90 times, replace your phone. Even if you use EasyCare cleaner, it should be replaced. Your phone was tested for only 90 doses of Pulmozyme. After 90 doses, the correct dose of PULMOZYME could not be determined.
The above is the usage method of pulmozyme. If the patient has any questions, he or she can consult the medical companion for detailed answers.
