氯法齐明吃多久会出现副作用?
Time of occurrence of side effects
The most common side effect of clofazimine is skin pigmentation, which appears as orange-red skin. It appears within 2-4 weeks of treatment and is most obvious at 6-12 months.
This coloring starts with the skin appearing light red, and later changes to tan to purple-black, and is more obvious in exposed parts, especially on the trunk and face. In addition to the central nervous system, it can also be seen in other places, especially the conjunctiva, in sweat, hair, phlegm, urine, feces and internal organs.
The degree of skin redness and pigmentation in patients is directly proportional to the dose and course of treatment, and will gradually subside after stopping the drug.
Clofazimine other
1. Dry skin and ichthyosis-like changes: mostly appear 2-3 months after taking the drug, most obvious on the extended sides of the limbs (especially the lower limbs), and gradually subside about 3 months after stopping the drug.
2. Gastrointestinal reactions: A few patients have adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, anorexia, abdominal pain, constipation and diarrhea, which are generally mild and do not affect treatment. Changing clofazimine to be taken with food can alleviate the symptoms.
3. Other side effects: drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia, etc. QT interval prolongation is rare. The side effects of teratogenic and toxic neuropathy require a high degree of vigilance, and corresponding health education needs to be carried out before use and the possibility of pregnancy must be ruled out.
How to deal with clofazimine side effects
The most common adverse reactions of clofazimine usually occur in the skin, eyes, gastrointestinal tract and other parts of the body. The patient's skin color changes after taking the drug. Generally, the symptoms will gradually subside after stopping the drug, and no special treatment is required. If the patient has dry skin, external emollients can be used to relieve symptoms, such as vitamin E, etc. Pay attention to moisturizing the skin at ordinary times.
If gastrointestinal reactions such as nausea, anorexia, and vomiting are weak, you can continue to take the drug and take it with meals instead. At the same time, pay attention to your diet during the medication, avoid eating spicy and irritating foods such as peppers and spicy hot pot, and eat more apples, kiwis, spinach, milk, lean meat, eggs and other foods. If the abdominal pain is severe, you should stop taking the medicine immediately and go to the hospital for treatment.
