How to take MSD aprepitant:

1. In the combination treatment regimen of aprepitant with a corticosteroid and a 5-HT3 antagonist, aprepitant was administered for 3 days. The recommended dose of aprepitant is 125 mg orally administered 1 hour before chemotherapy (Day 1) and 80 mg orally once daily in the morning on Days 2 and 3.

2. Aprepitant can be taken with or without food.

3. Patients of different ages, genders, races and body mass indexes (BMI) do not need to adjust the dosage of the drug.

4. Patients with severe renal insufficiency (creatinine clearance <30 ml/min) and patients with end-stage renal disease undergoing hemodialysis do not need to adjust the dosage of aprepitant.

5. Patients with mild or moderate hepatic insufficiency (Child-Pugh classification score 5-9 points) do not need to adjust the dosage. There is currently no clinical research data on the use of aprepitant in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency (Child-Pugh score >9).
