How often should Ipilimumab be used?

The frequency and dosage of Ipilimumab will vary based on the condition being treated and the specific circumstances of the patient. In the adjuvant treatment of melanoma, the recommended dose is 10mg/kg, intravenously administered over 90 minutes, once every 3 weeks, for a total of 4 treatments. Subsequently, injections are given every 12 weeks for 3 years or until disease relapse or unacceptable toxicity occurs. In the treatment of renal cell carcinoma, metastatic colorectal cancer with microsatellite instability or mismatch repair deficiency, the dose of ipilimumab is 1 mg/kg, intravenously infused over 30 minutes, once every 3 weeks. Patients with renal cell carcinomaafter four combined infusions, were switched to nivolumab monotherapy.
