Donepezil hydrochloride orally disintegrating tablets

Donepezil comes in two oral forms: tablets and orally disintegrating tablets (tablets that dissolve quickly in the mouth). Usually once a day, take or not take it before going to bed at night. Take donepezil at about the same time every day, and do not take more or less or more often than prescribed by your doctor. Donepezil helps control the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease but does not cure it. Continue taking donepezil even if you feel well. Do not stop taking donepezil without talking to your doctor. To take the orally disintegrating tablets, place the tablet on your tongue and wait for it to dissolve. Drink some water after the tablets have dissolved.
