Vemurafenib (Vemurafenib) is an anti-cancer drug targeting BRAF gene mutations and is mainly used for the treatment of melanoma and Erdheim-Chester disease (ECD). However, the incidence of BRAF gene mutations in lung cancer is relatively low, and the response to vemurafenib treatment is also poor. Some studies have shown that in non-small cell lung cancer, the BRAF V600E mutation may confer some sensitivity to vemurafenib. However, vemurafenib is not a conventional treatment drug for lung cancer and has few clinical applications. For patients with lung cancer, the best treatment plan should be determined by doctors based on the patient's specific situation and genetic mutations. If a patient has lung cancer, it is recommended to consult a doctor for professional diagnosis and treatment advice.
