What should I do if niraparib is not effective in advanced ovarian cancer?

Niraparib (Niraparib) is a PARP inhibitor used to treat certain patients with ovarian cancer. If patients with advanced ovarian cancer do not see any effect after using niraparib, or their condition does not improve, doctors may generally consider other drugs or conservative treatments, including chemotherapy, surgery, or radiotherapy. Advanced ovarian cancer refers to clinical stage III or IV. Most of these patients have distant metastases, including the pelvis, peritoneum, omentum, intestine, liver and lungs. If these late-stage patients are evaluated for surgery, they can undergo surgery to remove larger pelvic lesions, and then perform auxiliary conservative treatment to prevent symptoms from worsening.
