What diseases does Ceritinib/Ceritinib treat?
Ceritinib/Ceritinib is an oral targeted drug mainly used to treat a specific subtype of non-small cell lung cancer. Specifically, Ceritinib/Ceritinib is mainly used to treat NSCLC patients with ALK fusion genes. ALK fusion gene is an abnormal fusion of cancer-related genes. This gene mutation is common in some NSCLC patients. Ceritinib/Ceritinib prevents the growth and spread of tumor cells by specifically inhibiting the activity of ALK fusion protein, thereby slowing down the progression of the disease and improving the survival rate of patients. This makes ceritinib/ceritinib a first-line treatment for ALKpositive NSCLC patients, helping to improve patients’ symptoms and quality of life.
