How long is a course of Sorafenib?

Sorafenib (Sorafenib) is an oral tablet. Usually taken twice a day. Sorafenib is taken on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal. Take sorafenib at approximately the same time each day. Taking the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma as an example, it is usually treated once a month and once every three months until the disease progresses or as directed by the doctor. The recommended dose of sorafenib is400 mg twice a day. That bottle of sorafenib can be taken for one month. One month of sorafenib is a course of treatment. If the patient does not recover after 30 days of interruption, treatment is discontinued unless the patient achieves clinical benefit. If the patient requires more than 2 dose reductions, it is recommended to permanently discontinue treatment.
