When treating drug-resistant tuberculosis, cycloserine (Cycloserine) alone cannot control the disease. It usually needs to be used in combination with other anti-tuberculosis drugs to form a multi-drug regimen, such as fluoroquinolones, injectable antibiotics, linezolid and other drugs. Combination medication can enhance the antibacterial effect and reduce the risk of drug resistance, and is an internationally recognized treatment strategy. However, during combined use, one needs to be alert to drug-drug interactions, especially the burden on liver and kidney function and the cumulative risk of central nervous system toxicity. For example, psychiatric and neurological manifestations should be monitored more closely during concurrent use of other neurotoxic drugs. Therefore, combined treatment must be carried out under the guidance of a doctor.
