Is aflibercept a drug for colon cancer?

Aflibercept (Ziv-aflibercept) is a drug used to treat colon cancer, but it is mainly used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer. This drug inhibits the formation and leakage of new blood vessels by neutralizing vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) molecules, thereby delaying the growth and spread of tumors, prolonging patient survival, and controlling tumor-related pain and other symptoms.
