那他霉素滴眼液效果好吗？

Fungal keratitis is a common infectious corneal disease with high blindness rate, and its main pathogenic bacteria are Aspergillus and Fusarium. In recent years, due to the lack of specific drugs and the fact that pathogens are limited by current diagnosis and treatment conditions and are prone to develop drug resistance, finding effective antifungal drugs is the key to treating fungal keratitis. It is an antifungal eye drop approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and has the effect of fighting a variety of filamentous fungi and yeasts. So, are natamycin eye drops effective?

Are natamycin eye drops effective?

Research purpose: To analyze the effectiveness of cyclosporine eye drops combined with natamycin in the treatment of fungal keratitis.

Research method: 60 patients with fungal keratitis were selected as the research subjects and divided into a control group and an observation group according to the random number table method, with 30 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with cyclosporine eye drops combined with natamycin eye drops, and the control group was treated with natamycin eye drops. Observe the changes in visual acuity of the two groups of patients before treatment and 2 weeks after treatment, and compare the clinical efficacy, ulcer diameter, visual acuity index, hospitalization time, ulcer healing time and adverse reactions after treatment.

Research results: After 2 weeks of treatment, the total effective rate of the observation group was 90.00% (27/30), which was higher than the 73.33% (22/30) of the control group; after 2 weeks of treatment, the ulcer diameter of the observation group was (3.26±0.39) mm, the hospitalization time was (9.14±2.57) days, and the ulcer healing time was ( 12.58±+2.84) d, all shorter than the control group (4.37±0.43) mm, (12.58±2.43) d and (17.84±3.06) d; the visual acuity index of the observation group was (0.45±0.06), higher than the control group (0.37±0.04), and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the 2 groups of patients (P>0.05).

Conclusion

Cyclosporine eye drops combined with natamycin eye drops in the treatment of fungal keratitis can improve the clinical effect of patients, improve visual acuity, and speed up recovery.
