Indications:

Respimat powder inhalation: Respimat is a bronchodilator, suitable for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), including chronic bronchitis and emphysema, the maintenance treatment of associated dyspnea and the prevention of acute exacerbations.

Respimat Spray: This product is suitable for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, including chronic bronchitis and emphysema) and related dyspnea. It can improve the quality of life of COPD patients and reduce acute exacerbations of COPD.

How to use Respimat:

1. Respimat can only be used by inhalation. Bottles containing Respimat may only be used by inserting a Respimat inhaler device and inhaling through the Respimat inhaler device. (One medicinal dose contains 2 puffs.)

2. The recommended dose for adults is to inhale once a day through the Respimat inhalation device at the same time, taking 2 puffs each time.

3. Respimat should not be used in excess of the recommended dose.

4. Special groups:

(1) Elderly patients can use Respimat at the recommended dose.

(2) Patients with renal insufficiency can use it at the recommended dose. However, as with other drugs that are primarily renally excreted, Respimat use should be closely monitored in patients with moderate to severe renal impairment (creatinine clearance ≤50 ml/minute).

(3) Patients with hepatic insufficiency can use Respimat at the recommended dose.

(4) COPD does not usually occur in children. The safety and effectiveness of use in pediatric patients have not been determined.
