拜瑞妥吃多久见效?
(Rivaroxaban) is a new type of oral anticoagulant with safe, effective, simple and intuitive anticoagulant effects. Therefore, in clinical practice, Xarelto has gradually replaced warfarin as the anticoagulant of choice for venous thrombosis, atrial fibrillation, pulmonary embolism and other diseases. Clinical studies have shown that Xarelto can effectively prevent deep vein thrombosis after postoperative fractures around the hip joint. It has good safety and is worthy of clinical promotion. Today we will learn more about how long it takes to take Xarelto to take effect?
Under normal circumstances, the recommended dose of Xarelto (rivaroxaban) is 10 mg/time, once/day, and the medication is taken orally. When the wound has stopped bleeding, the patient's first medication should be administered between 6 and 10 hours after surgery. If the patient misses a dose during this period, the patient should take Xarelto immediately and continue the previous usage the next day, that is, take the medication once a day.
When actually taking the drug, patients can take it with meals or alone. The duration of treatment will also depend on each patient's risk of a venous thromboembolic event, i.e., the type of orthopedic surgery the patient underwent.
How to take Xarelto (rivaroxaban):
1. To prevent venous thrombosis in adult patients undergoing elective hip or knee replacement surgery: The recommended dose is oral Xarelto (rivaroxaban) 10 mg, once daily. If the wound has stopped bleeding, the first dose of medication should be between 6 and 10 hours after surgery. For patients undergoing major hip surgery, the recommended course of treatment is 35 days. For patients undergoing major knee surgery, the recommended course of treatment is 12 days. If a missed dose occurs, patients should take Xarelto immediately and continue taking the dose once daily the next day.
2. For use in adult patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism: The recommended dose of Xarelto (rivaroxaban) is 20 mg once a day, which is also the maximum recommended dose. For patients with low weight and advanced age (>75 years old), doctors can use 15 mg once a day as appropriate based on the patient's condition.
3. Treat DVT (venous thrombosis) and reduce the risk of acute DVT recurrence and PE: The recommended dose of Xarelto (rivaroxaban) for the initial treatment of acute DVT is 15 mg twice a day for the first three weeks, and then the dose for maintenance treatment and reducing the risk of DVT recurrence and PE is 20 mg once a day.
