The course of treatment depends on the course of radiotherapy. ④ For the prevention of nausea and vomiting after surgery: Inject 4mg (1 tube) intravenously at the same time during anesthesia. ⑤ For high-dose cisplatin, 20 mg of dexamethasone sodium phosphate can be added intravenously before chemotherapy, which can enhance the efficacy of Shudan on vomiting caused by highly emetic chemotherapy.
(2) Children: Inject intravenously at a dose of 5 mg/m2 (body surface area) before chemotherapy, and then take it orally 12 hours later; after chemotherapy, oral administration should be continued for 5 days.
Shudan (ondansetron hydrochloride) treats postoperative nausea and vomiting:
⑴Adults: To prevent nausea and vomiting after surgery, 4 mg (1 vial) of this product should be injected intramuscularly or slowly intravenously while inducing anesthesia. For post-operative nausea and vomiting that has occurred, a single dose of 4 mg (1 vial) can be injected intramuscularly or slowly intravenously.
⑵ Children: In order to prevent postoperative nausea and vomiting in pediatric patients undergoing general anesthesia, this product should be injected slowly intravenously at a dose of 0.1 mg/kg or a maximum dose of 4 mg (1 tube) before, during or after induction of anesthesia. For postoperative nausea and vomiting in pediatric patients, a dose of 0.1 mg/kg or a maximum of 4 mg (1 tube) can be administered slowly intravenously.
