Deferasirox is an iron chelator product developed by the Swiss pharmaceutical company Novartis. It is the first oral iron-chelating agent approved by the US FDA for routine use.

Indications of Deferasirox:

2. For the treatment of secondary hemochromatosis.

4. For the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome.

5. Used to treat iron overload caused by blood transfusion in patients with chronic anemia 2 years old and above.

Patients should pay attention to the following when using Deferasirox: Use it with caution in pregnant women and children; the drug must be mixed with a small amount of water, apple juice or orange juice before taking it.
