Methods: 60 patients with hypercortisolism admitted to the hospital were selected and randomly divided into two groups, A and B, with 30 cases in each group. All patients were given intravenous infusion of 100 mg hydrocortisone tablets on the day after the operation and on the first day after the operation, and then another infusion 12 hours later. On the second day after the operation, group A started taking oral hydrocortisone acetate tablets, and group B started taking oral prednisone acetate tablets.

Results: ① The two groups of patients did not show adrenocortical insufficiency during hormone replacement therapy. The average drug withdrawal time in group A was (6.61±1.25) months, and the average drug withdrawal time in group B was (4.90±1.06) months;

②The postoperative blood and urine Cor levels of patients in groups A and B were significantly lower than those before surgery in the same group (P<0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups;

③The postoperative serum sodium and potassium levels of patients in groups A and B were significantly lower than those before surgery in the same group (P<0.05), and there was no statistically significant difference between the groups.

Conclusion: Two oral hormones, prednisone and prednisone, are safe and effective in postoperative hormone replacement therapy in patients with hypercortisolism. During the simplified medication process, attention should be paid to regular review of the patient's blood and urine cortisol levels and electrolytes.
