Has it been approved for listing in China? Hydrocortisone tablets have been approved for marketing in China. As we all know, the high price is often one of the main factors that hinders the wider clinical application of hydrocortisone. On September 29, 2020, Eton Pharmaceuticals announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved hydrocortisone oral granules as an alternative therapy for the treatment of adrenocortical insufficiency (AI) in children under 17 years of age.

Manufactured using commercially proven technology and available in 4 strengths: 0.5mg, 1mg, 2mg, 5mg, it will enable clinicians to personalize dosing and dosing instructions based on the needs of each patient. Hydrocortisone is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2020.
