阿托伐他汀副作用
Atorvastatin can be used to treat hypercholesterolemia and is a lipid-lowering drug of the statin class. For patients with primary hypercholesterolemia, including familial hypercholesterolemia (heterozygous type) or mixed hyperlipidemia, if the effects of diet therapy and other non-drug treatments are not satisfactory, it can be used to treat elevated total cholesterol, elevated low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, elevated apolipoprotein B and elevated triglycerides.
Statin lipid-lowering drugs, namely HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors, are currently the most effective lipid-lowering drugs. They can not only effectively reduce total cholesterol (TC) and low-density lipoprotein (LDL), but also reduce triacylglycerol (TG) to a certain extent, and can also increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL).
Atorvastatin side effects:
1. The most common side effects of atorvastatin are gastrointestinal discomfort, and others include headache, rash, dizziness, blurred vision and taste disturbance.
2. Occasionally, it may cause a reversible increase in blood aminotransferase; therefore, liver function needs to be monitored.
3. Rare side effects include impotence and insomnia.
4. Rare side effects include myositis, myalgia, and rhabdomyolysis, which manifest as muscle pain, fatigue, fever, accompanied by increased blood creatine phosphokinase, myoglobinuria, etc. Rhabdomyolysis can lead to renal failure, but it is rare. Combining atorvastatin with immunosuppressants, folic acid derivatives, niacin, gemfibrozil, erythromycin, etc. may increase the risk of myopathy.
5. Hepatitis, pancreatitis and allergic reactions such as angioedema have been reported.
