The method of use is to take it orally, once a day, one tablet at a time. Patients should strictly follow the doctor's instructions when taking the medication. Remember not to stop taking the medication, increase or decrease the dosage, etc. without permission to avoid improper use of medication that may affect your health.

Usage restrictions

Due to the risk of ongoing bone loss that may be irreversible, use of Ryeqo (MYFEMBREE) should be limited to 24 months.

MYFEMBREE is contraindicated in women with known osteoporosis. Consider the benefits and risks of treatment with MYFEMBREE in patients with a history of low-traumatic fractures or risk factors for osteoporosis or bone loss, including taking medications that may reduce bone mineral density (BMD) (such as systemic or chronic inhaled corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, or long-term use of proton pump inhibitors).

1. Patients should first rule out pregnancy before taking the drug, as women taking MYFEMBREE may experience amenorrhea or reduced menstrual bleeding volume, intensity or duration, which may delay the ability to identify pregnancy. If pregnancy is suspected, perform a pregnancy test and if pregnancy is confirmed, interrupt MYFEMBREE.

2. Next, hormonal contraceptives should be discontinued, and women of reproductive potential are advised to use effective non-hormonal contraceptive methods during MYFEMBREE treatment and within one week after the last dose. Use hormonal contraceptives with MYFEMBREE. Use of estrogen-containing hormonal contraceptives increases estrogen levels, which may increase the risk of estrogen-related adverse events and reduce the efficacy of MYFEMBREE.

Recommended dosage

Patients should take one tablet of MYFEMBREE by mouth, once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food. Start your period as early as possible after your period, but no later than seven days after your period begins. The recommended duration of treatment is 24 months.

Missed medication

If a patient misses a dose, they should take the missed dose as soon as possible that day and then resume regular dosing at the usual time the next day.
